Yasmin's love for music began at an early age when she was exposed to a vast variety of musical influences as a young girl growing up in the cosmopolitan and cultural melting pot of Jakarta. Her genuine love for music led DJ Yasmin to utilise her talent and passion at the tender age of 19 by trying her hand at being a DJ, having picked up the techniques and skills from her best friend, all the while constantly improvising and developing herself.
Her preferred musical genre is house, but Yasmin's style is now a mix of everything: progressive, techno, tribal, breakbeat and trance - it's truly the best of all that the dance world has to offer. She looks to such greats as James Zabiela, Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Daniel Portman, Chris Reece, Dousk, Dinka, Grant Nelson, Copyright, Way Out West as her influences. What punctuates Yasmin's skills as a DJ is her ability to not only incorporate diverse genres and styles, but to transcend them by infusing her music with pure emotion, featuring soaring vocals, spine-tingling breakdowns, and euphoric melodies at every end of the spectrum.
Yasmin is managed by Sound of Zeus, one of the premier DJ and Event Managers in Indonesia, and she now stands in the company of wonderfully talented Djs such as DJ Ali, DJ windo and DJ Zie.

In his career as a professional DJ, Yasmin has collaborated with several musicians in Indonesia, such as Shanty, Tompi, Titi Sjuman, Risma Indonesian Idols, Angel Percussion, Tommy Saxophone, Ditha Violin, Nidya, Fairus Faisal and many more. Now Yasmin is being doing Live P.A. Project with Dhea Ananda, Jawa Maliq D’essential and also she doing music production and soon will be coming her new single in the end of 2010.
Yasmin's dream is to improve further as a DJ, to master the complex art of unifying a group of people through music because she truly understands how music affects the overall tone and ultimate success of any event.
Her professionalism and experience have brought her recognition among many clubbers in Indonesia and she is currently very much sought after by clubs all over Indonesia.
